   Tynemouth Longsands lies directly in front of the hotel, the village of Tynemouth (only a few minutes walk away) offers charming village shopping and lifestyle. Within easy reach by car lies the beautiful village of Warkworth with its magnificent castle, a little further up the coast lies Bamburgh and on again to the island of Lindisfarne with its own Priory and castle.

   Traveling inland from the coast you will find the historic city of Newcastle upon Tyne and within easy reach the Metro centre, which is the largest shopping centre in Europe.

With its wide selection of wines, beers and spirits and an extensive bar menu, it makes Parkers bar the ideal watering hole.

Live Music is regularly featured in the bar area during the summer months. The Park Hotel's Restaurant is open to residents and non-residents alike. It boasts an extensive a la carte menu; a delicious carvery as well as simple, freshly prepared traditional dishes.
